Software Engineer
(6+ month assignment in Motorola in St. Petersburgh, Russia)

Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations
1. Requirements gathering, technical negotiations with customers and partners
2. Kreatel platform code investigation and modification.
3. Code, project technical documentation development
4. Participation in technical reviews

Specific Knowledge/Skills
- Strong knowledge of C++ programming language and object oriented approach
- Good English
- Experience with large software components support

Pluses:
- Experience in embedded programming and software integration
- Knowledge of digital TV and video standards (DVB, ARIB, MPEG2 TS, Windows media)
- Experience with network protocols and solutions like streaming, multicasting, gateways
- Experience with DRM systems
- Good knowledge of Linux

OCAP Software Engineer
(6+ month assignment in Motorola in St. Petersburgh, Russia)

Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations
The candidate is expected to perform development and debugging of the OCAP implementation for DCH platform for digital TV set top boxes.

Specific Knowledge/Skills

Technical Requirements:
- Experience in Java programming;
- Experience in Object Oriented Design;
- Good Java knowledge.

Desirable:
- Experience in relevant areas (javax.tv, OCAP, MHP)
- Experience in low-level programming (C/C++/JNI)
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix
- Knowledge of XML
